The midsole still features Altra’s EGO MAX foam, but it has been refined for this shoe to be even softer and more energy-returning. This provides extra comfort on long forest runs while adding propulsion to your stride. A key advantage of this midsole is its impressive durability—it maintains its properties over time. Altra’s zero drop design and wide forefoot allow natural movement for your feet and toes, encouraging better foot placement.
The upper is made of a breathable knitted mesh with reinforcements, delivering excellent comfort and support. The fit uses Altra’s Standard Fit, offering a roomy toe box while ensuring solid midfoot support. The shoe also features hooks for attaching gaiters to keep debris out.
