Postural training is about addressing the root cause of the pain, not just alleviating the symptoms. Your body is a unit, and it is important to treat it as such.
How it works
1. Consultation
We review your background of any injuries, current condition, and goals.
2. Functional testing
Now it’s time to assess your body and its function! We perform several functional tests and a posture analysis to evaluate your body function.
3. Postural training
We tailor exercises suited for you and your body to optimize your posture. Be prepared for a feeling of lightness in your body after the exercises!
4. Manual therapy
If needed, we also perform manual therapy to help the body achieve a more balanced state.
5. Result
We compare the results from the analysis at the beginning of the session to assess the impact of our session and evaluate how the body feels afterward. Many people experience an ‘antigravity effect,’ feeling lighter as tensions that resist gravity can now relax, allowing the deep postural muscles to resume their function
6. Training at home
To achieve a lasting effect and give the body a chance to reset, a period of recurring training with individually tailored exercises is necessary. We will go through all the exercises you need on-site. You will then receive a program to continue at home
7. Follow-up visit
After you’ve been following the program at home for a while, we recommend scheduling a follow-up visit to assess your progress. We optimize your body with more challenging exercises as needed. The number of sessions required is entirely individual and depends on your background and goals.
