Who is this trip for?
This trip is designed for those who love running in nature and want to combine exercise with unforgettable experiences. To get the most out of the journey, you should be accustomed to jogging at least 10 kilometers (6 miles) per week in total. The focus is on enjoyable running at a comfortable pace, and we cater to various skill levels. You can choose between several groups, ranging from a gentler jog/walk group to more challenging running options.
Program
Wednesday, September 3: Travel Day and Arrival
- 12:05: Departure from Gothenburg. The flight takes us towards our Welsh adventure.
- 16:45: Arrival at Manchester Airport (local time). Transfer to our accommodation near Snowdonia National Park.
- 19:30: Check-in and group dinner. We’ll review the week’s program and get to know each other.
Thursday, September 4: Discover Snowdonia
- 07:00: Mobility and postural training for better posture.
- 08:00: Breakfast.
- 10:00: Guided run through Snowdonia’s dramatic landscapes (choose between approx. 10 km or 20 km). Challenging terrain with several stops to enjoy the scenery.
- 13:00: Lunch at a cozy local pub.
- 15:00: Free time for recovery, exploring the area, or a run around Llyn Trawfynydd Lake (12 km on easy trails).
- 17:00: Postural training and mobility for runners.
- 19:30: Group dinner and reflections on the day’s adventures.
Friday, September 5: Coastal Running at Pembrokeshire
- 07:30: Breakfast.
- 08:30: Transfer to the Pembrokeshire Coast (approx. 2.5-hour journey).
- 10:00: Run along spectacular coastal trails (approx. 15 km, with easier and more challenging options).
- 13:00: Picnic lunch with sea views.
- 15:00: Free time for rest, swimming, self-exploration, or an additional run.
- 16:00: Return to accommodation.
- 19:00: Dinner featuring local specialties.
Coaches:
Our training sessions and adventures will be led by running coache Nathalie Sandheden and Victoria Randli.
Nathalie Sandheden
Nathalie is the founder of VarjeSteg and a licensed physiotherapist with extensive expertise as a certified running coach, movement coach, and postural trainer. With a deep understanding of the body’s natural movement patterns, she is passionate about inspiring people toward pain-free movement and running. Nathalie herself has completed running distances of up to an impressive 100 miles (160 km)!
Victoria Randli
Victoria is the site manager for VarjeSteg’s running groups in Skövde and has a strong background in leadership and the joy of movement. With her experience in leading group trips and her educational skills as a trained teacher, she creates inspiring and inclusive environments for runners of all levels. Victoria has also completed multiple marathons and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of gentle movement while spreading the joy of running.

Full board with group dinners at the accommodation and at various restaurants/catered locations (see the program above). Beverages during meals are not included.
