Guadeloupe
7 – 17 november 2024Registration not openJoin us for a trip to Guadeloupe filled with running, good food, relaxation and incredible nature experiences. We are close to beautiful surroundings and can enjoy sustainable hiking/running with beautiful views and always close to sun and swimming when darkness is a fact in Sweden.
Guadeloupe is located in the French West Indies and has paradise beaches with turquoise waters as far as the eye can see. But Guadeloupe is much more than that; an active volcano, magnificent mangrove forests, beautiful waterfalls, coral reefs with sea turtles, dolphins and colorful fish. Here you are greeted by a hospitable Creole culture that is the result of several centuries of influence from all over the world.
Who is the trip aimed at?
This trip is for you who want to avoid dark November in Sweden and instead enjoy sun and running with beautiful views. The program suits both those who want to walk/run short or longer. Group division from walking/jogging group to running in different levels. The program is not mandatory, so if you’d rather go sightseeing or sunbathe & swim instead, that’s fine.
Weather
Guadeloupe has a warm, tropical climate. The temperature is around 27–28 degrees all year round, both in the air and in the water.
We make sure to complete the running session in the morning to be able to enjoy mobility/strength in the afternoons. It is also possible to join other excursions.
Food
The trip includes half board, breakfast and dinner. The food is inspired by French and Swedish cuisine and of course made with the best ingredients. To complete the dining experience, a well-sorted wine list with both local and international wines is also offered.
Lunch and meal drinks are not included.
Running coach
In addition to our trained running group leaders, it is running coach Nathalie Bergquist (founder of VarjeSteg & Leg. Physiotherapist) who will lead the training sessions and adventures.
Accommodation
We stay at Langley Resort Fort Royal which is a genuine holiday paradise located on a headland between two beaches on Guadeloupe, with a fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea. Here you live in a modern hotel building or bungalow (choose what you want when registering).
